Crusher gear clearance adjustment method

1. Check the gears
Before adjusting the gear clearance, you must first check the wear of the gears. If the gear tooth surface is severely worn, fatigue cracked, etc., it must be replaced in time.
2. Remove the gears
When removing the gears, you must first remove the drive shaft and remove the oil seal ring on the outside of the gear.
3. Detect the clearance
After removing the gears, you can use tools such as pitch calipers to detect the size of the gear clearance. The correct clearance should enable the gears to rotate smoothly, but it should not be too large, otherwise it will affect the gear transmission efficiency.
4. Adjust the clearance
If the gear clearance is found to be inappropriate, it must be adjusted. Usually, the clearance size can be adjusted by replacing gaskets, adjusting nuts, adjusting gear positions, etc.
5. Reinstall the gears
After completing the gear clearance adjustment, the gears must be reinstalled into the equipment, and the oil seal rings and drive shafts must be reinstalled.
