The necessity of counterweighting the crusher hammer is to improve wear resistance and work efficiency. Reasonable counterweighting can ensure the balance of the rotor, reduce vibration and noise, and thus improve the stability and service life of the equipment.
Counterweighting method
There are two main methods for counterweighting the crusher hammer: calculation balance method and on-site rotation method.
Calculation balance method: This method calculates the weight of each column of hammers to ensure that the total weight of each column of hammers is equal, thereby achieving rotor balance. In specific operations, the weight of each column of hammers can be accurately measured, and then the balance can be achieved by adding or removing counterweights.
On-site rotation method: This method manually rotates the crusher pulley quickly, stops it in an inertial state, and then finds the high point and marks it. After repeating several times, install the heavier hammer at the high point and the lighter hammer at other locations until all hammers are installed.
Specific operation steps
Calculation balance method:
Measure the weight of each column of hammers.
According to the measurement results, the weight of each row of hammers is adjusted by adding or removing counterweights to ensure that the total weight of each row of hammers is equal.
When installing the hammers, check the weight of the hammers one by one to ensure the balance of the rotor as much as possible.
On-site rotation method:
Manually quickly rotate the crusher pulley for more than ten turns and let it stop under inertia.
Find the high point and mark it. After repeating it several times, install the heavier hammer at the high point and the lighter hammer at other positions.
Install the hammers of other rows in the same way until all the hammers are installed.
Precautions
Safety measures: Wear a safety helmet, work clothes and flat non-slip shoes when entering the work site. It is strictly forbidden for people who are drunk or physically tired to work.
Power outage lock: Before replacing the hammer, the power should be turned off and locked, and a power outage sign should be hung, and a special person should be arranged to guard the switch.
Clean up debris: Before replacing the hammer, the material at the mouth of the heavy hammer crusher should be cleaned up to prevent debris from clogging the crushing chamber and affecting the replacement work.
Check the weight of the hammer head: Before installation, check the weight of the hammer heads one by one to ensure the balance of the rotor as much as possible.
Turn check: After installation, turn the wheel to check to ensure that the gap between the hammer head and the screen plate is appropriate.
The importance of counterweight
Reasonable counterweight is crucial to the performance of the crusher. An unbalanced rotor will cause increased vibration and noise of the equipment, affecting the life of the equipment and the safety of the operator. Through reasonable counterweight, the equipment can be ensured to run smoothly, reduce the occurrence of failures, and improve production efficiency.
