Why does the VSI rotor need to be tested for dynamic balance?

The rotor of the sand making machine needs to be tested for dynamic balancing. The reason is that when the rotor rotates around its axis, centrifugal force is generated due to the uneven distribution of mass relative to the axis. This unbalanced centrifugal force will cause vibration on the rotor bearing, generate noise and accelerate bearing wear, seriously affecting the performance and life of the sand making machine. The principle of dynamic balancing test is to determine the position of the unbalanced weight of the rotor in the rotating state, and determine the position and size of the balancing weight to be added. It is suitable for balancing various cylindrical rotors, such as the rotor of centrifugal compressors and large motor rotors. ‌

During the dynamic balancing process of the sand making machine rotor, it is also necessary to consider the errors caused by factors such as the measurement error of the balancing machine and the inaccurate balancing correction, including the correction angle error, the correction amplitude error, the correction radius error and the correction plane position error. ‌These errors are mostly comprehensive in actual correction and need to be considered and analyzed comprehensively. ‌Through dynamic balancing test and correction, the performance and safety of the sand making machine rotor can be significantly improved, the service life can be extended, and the maintenance cost and downtime can be reduced, ensuring the stable operation and efficient production of the sand making machine.
