Causes and maintenance methods of jaw plate wear

The main reason for the wear of the Jaw Plate of the mobile jaw crusher is that the material slides short-distance relative to the jaw plate, cutting metal to cause grinding chips, and the repeated extrusion of the jaw plate on the material causes the jaw plate material to deform multiple times, resulting in fatigue and chipping of the metal material and wear. The specific process is as follows:

1. When the machine is running, the material enters the crushing chamber, and the movable jaw plate approaches the movable jaw plate under the drive of the eccentric shaft. The two jaw plates slide relatively short-distance with the material, and the material cuts the jaw plate to form grinding chips.

2. The movable jaw plate and the Fixed Jaw Plate are sometimes close to each other and sometimes far away. The material is repeatedly extruded many times, thereby chiseling the two jaw plates, forming microcracks on the surface of the jaw plate or at the root of the protruding part of the extruded metal. The microcracks continue to expand and connect, causing the metal material on the surface of the jaw plate to fall off and form grinding chips.

3. The two jaw plates repeatedly squeeze the material for a long time, causing the metal material of the jaw plate to be partially fractured or turned up, and the broken or turned up part falls off with the extruded and impacted material to form grinding chips.

Maintenance method: First, the material selection of the jaw plate of the jaw mobile crusher should be made of high-performance materials with high toughness, friction resistance and extrusion resistance; secondly, when feeding the jaw mobile crusher, avoid other hard debris from entering the crushing chamber, and clean the crushing chamber in time after each use. The jaw mobile crusher must be operated according to the prescribed operating time during use, and the machine must not be allowed to run continuously for a long time without rest.
