How to choose coarse, medium and fine crushers correctly?

Impact crusher

Crushers can be divided into three categories according to the particle size of feed and product:

Coarse crusher: crush 350~100mm from 1500~500mm;

Medium crusher: crush 100~40mm from 350~100mm;

Fine crusher: crush 30~10mm from 100~40mm.

Coarse crusher is suitable for mining, metallurgy, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, chemical industry and other industries, and is generally used to crush ores with a compressive strength of less than 320 MPa. Commonly used coarse grinding machines include: jaw coarse crusher and hammer crusher. In the production process of sand and gravel aggregates, various crushing methods can be used to crush raw materials, so they are widely used in the coarse crushing process.

Medium and fine crushers are widely used for fine crushing of various minerals such as granite, basalt, limestone, river pebbles, cement clinker, quartz stone, iron ore, bauxite, etc., and can also be used in mechanical artificial sand making, highways, railways, water conservancy, airports, construction, cement, refractory materials, metallurgy and other industries. Commonly used medium crushers are cone crushers and impact crushers, which are a new type of crusher. Medium and fine particle crushing devices such as impact sand making machines and vertical shaft sand making machines are generally used as secondary crushing devices in production lines, which can further refine the raw materials after coarse crushing.
