The adjustment ring of the cone crusher is a very important component of the cone crusher. Its main functions include the following aspects:

Adjusting the size of the discharge port: The adjustment ring is connected to the fixed cone, the main frame fixing pin, etc., and is responsible for adjusting the size of the discharge port, thereby controlling the discharge particle size. When the crusher is overloaded, the adjustment ring will move upward, increase the discharge port, accelerate the discharge of materials in the crushing chamber, and reduce the load of the crusher; after the load is reduced, the adjustment ring will return to its original position.

Keep the discharge port constant: The design of the adjustment ring enables the discharge port to be kept constant during actual operation, which improves the stability of the entire production process.

Simple operation and easy disassembly and assembly: The adjustment ring in some designs uses hydraulic method to adjust the size of the crusher discharge port, which is simple to operate and easy to disassemble and assemble.

Structure and working principle The adjustment ring is usually composed of a positioning pin seat, a hydraulic cavity clearing release seat, an internal thread, a seat guard mating surface, a positioning hole and a release hole. The locating pin seats are evenly distributed around the adjustment ring, the hydraulic cavity clearing release seat is located around the adjustment ring, the horizontal angle of the seat guard mating surface is 55°, the deviation is within ±1°, the internal thread tooth top is Φ2090mm, and the deviation is within ±10mm.

Common problems and solutions

‌Thread wear of the support sleeve and adjustment sleeve: These parts need to be repaired or replaced according to the wear condition to reduce the loosening of the adjustment ring.

‌ Adjustment error of the discharge port: The discharge port needs to be adjusted to a normal level.

‌ Insufficient equipment inspection: The equipment needs to be fully inspected before starting to ensure that all parts are tightened or repaired.

‌ The crushing wall and the rolling mortar wall are too thick: These parts need to be modified or replaced.

‌ The adjustment cap locking rod is broken: The broken adjustment cap needs to be replaced.
